Each kit comes complete with weed control fabric.The Hawklok Plastic Support Base Kit comprises of unique specially engineered interlocking tiles connecting blocks and a weed control membrane all for straightforward selfassembly. Quick convenient and clean to use. Requires no maintenance and can be reused.Each tile is 60cm x 60cm x 4.5cm made from 100% recycled and recyclable long life polypropylene weighs 1.5kgs lightweight and easy to handle. Is suitable for a one person project.The kit can be used for sheds summerhouses playhouses and wooden garden buildings in general due to the even weight distribution of the floor allows all sizes of standard garden building. Using ground pressure principles the chosen site need only to be reasonably firm and level. Eliminates the need for concrete (and setting time) slabs and lengthy excavations. If ground is hard a top dressing of builders sand will help. Firstly to save on excavation and secondly to help bed in the grids. If the ground is very soft a top dressing of builders sand will help along with 2 layers of Weedex membrane under the grids. Hawklok can be laid on to a concrete yard or patio this is because the grids are free draining and self ventilating ensuring the floor of your garden building stays dry.IMPORTANT: This product is a generic item and is not brand or buildingmodel based. Please be aware that you may need to selfcut the tiles if your chosen building floor is smaller than this base kit. The tiles can easily be cut using a hand saw.
