Dates fill quickly - book six to eight weeks in advance.Weather: Rafting will go ahead in most conditions. For your safety, certain conditions may lead to postponement - you MUST call the venue for a weather check. For morning bookings call the day before, for afternoon/evening bookings call before setting out.Duration: Sessions last around two hours from initial introduction to debrief, including at least five runs down the course. Please arrive a few minutes early to register and allow for time afterwards to shower and change. Sorry, latecomers can't be accommodated.Numbers On Day: This charter is for between four and six participants. A minimum of four participants is required to balance the raft.Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch from the bank. A camera will come in handy. Spectators' safety remains their own responsibility at all times. Rediscover your sense of adventure (and what it's like to be soaked to the skin!) with this white water rafting experience in an inflatable six person raft. You'll start by being kitted out with all the equipment (note: this is not an experience for the style-conscious!), before a full safety briefing and instruction in rafting techniques. Then an experienced guide will take you onto the water for a series of runs down the breathtaking twists, turns and drops of this 300 metre man-made course. You're in for a wild and wet ride as you and the rest of your crew steer the raft through a series of turbulent rapids. The course is fed by electric pumps, so water levels are consistently high throughout the year, and it's floodlit for evening sessions. As a guide, this course is graded 2-3 on the UK's white water grading system, which starts at one (relaxed) and goes up to six (too rough to offer commercially).
