Cycling is cooperation between the cyclist and the bike. The Polar Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. (2.4 GHz), compatible with the Polar CS600 cycling computer, contains different measuring features providing information on how the cyclist works with the bike and allowing the cyclist to control the intensity of exercise. The Polar Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. gives all information in one device only. It combines heart rate monitoring and power output measurement.Together with the Polar CS600, the Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. measures the actual, average and maximum power values. With the Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. you can analyze the L/R balance (balance between left and right foot) and Pedaling Index (shows how evenly the power is distributed during one crankarm rotation). The Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. also measures cycling speed, distance and cadence. You can easily download the data to the Polar Pro Trainer 5 professional training software for further analysis.All of the drive force of the bike is transmitted entirely through the chain, allowing the Polar Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. to calculate watts accurately. The sensor positioned on the rear pulley works magnetically and measures the speed of the chain. The chain stay sensor (power sensor) calculates the tension of the chain by measuring the vibration as the chain passes over the sensor. The Polar Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. also has a built-in cadence sensor. The information is then transmitted to the Polar CS600 cycling computer, which is mounted to a bike mount on the handlebars.Polar Power Output Sensor W.I.N.D. is easy to install. It is suitable only for road bikes, ridden on tarmac. It is not suitable for mountain bikes or bikes with very complex back forks.How does Power Output help cycling?With regard to training it can give much more precision than heart rate and perceived exertion. Power meters also have a number of other uses, including working on bike position and determining efficiency at different cadences.

Handel originally wrote Israel in Egypt in the late 1730s, but wrote it again from scratch in 1756, feeling that the music needed updating entirely. It was not long before it became a firm favourite. Handel originally wrote Israel in Egypt in the late 1730s, but this, the well-known version was not written until twenty years later, when he discarded the old one as out-of-date. The 'new' version is a two-act oratorio where the chorus is far more prominent, and serves much greater variety of expressive purposes, than one finds almost anywhere else in Handel's output. Notably, there is extensive use of the double-chorus. It did not take long for this 1756 version of Israel in Egypt to assume a place alongside the Messiah as one of England's favorite choral treasures. Part I tells of the Israelites' deliverance from their Egyptian captivity at the hands of Moses; the twelve choruses that describe the miracles leading to the Israelites' freedom are among the most stunning and colorful ever written -- images of hailstones, pestilence, and even the glorious parting of the Red Sea are achieved without once resorting to the kind of pictorialism that a lesser composer would relish. Part II, Moses' Song, recounts the Israelites' victory. This is the Schirmer Edition of the Vocal Score and hence contains a piano reduction of the original orchestral accompaniment.The full score is also available, order code DP16788.
