Maplin Electronics Ltd Product Information
Contains one red and one blue individually screened stranded conductor with high density polyethylene insulators which resist deformation suitable for two-way video signal traffic. Centre cores are 100.115mm strands and are untinned bare copper as are the screens. Another separate bundle comprises single Red Blue Yellow and White insulated bare copper 100.11mm stranded wires sheathed overall with a metallised film screen in contact with an uninsulated stranded conductor which is soldered together into a solid core and then in grey PVC. The whole cable is completed by one other isolated single white 100.115mm stranded bare copper wire. The whole group is then wrapped in metallised mylar film which again includes an uninsulated and soldered stranded conductor as an earth wire. Outer sheath is soft matt black PVC to an overall diameter of 8mm. A cable suitable for making up Composite Video and Audio SCART cables where composite Video Audio and Function Switching connections are to be provided. Individually screened conductors should be used for video in and out signals. 4-way screened conductors should be used for LR Audio in and out signals. The remaining single conductor should be used for function switching.

Four independent insulated blue red yellow and white 100.115mm stranded bare copper wires are also provided. The whole bundle is then wrapped in metallised mylar film which again contacts an uninsulated and soldered stranded conductor. Outer sheath is soft matt black PVC to an overall diameter of 10.5mm. A cable suitable for making up Universal SCART cables where all inputs and outputs are to be connected. The additional individually screened conductors should be used for R G B and blanking signals whilst the additional individual single conductors should be used for data communication signals. Other conductors should be connected as type 3 above.

Beautiful vintage Bill Baber knitted 3/4 length jacket in Scottish heather colours of deep purple, mauve, blue, green and grey. It has the wonderful feel of 100% Pure New Wool making it cosy to wrap yourself in to without any great weight. Bill Baber has been making individually designed knitwear in Scotland since 1977 and they claim that no two are identical. We place this as one of his earlier garments because of the colours, the geometric design, drop sleeves and the sewing of the lining. A machine has been used but it is basic straight stitch and the seam allowance has not been finished off in any way. There are no fastenings and the jacket hangs straight down to just above knee length. A continuous double band 4.5 ins wide edges the fronts and neck and there is a 2" double hem. The long sleeves are drop shoulder set and taper into 2" double cuffs. The jacket is fully lined in mauve. Due to the ambiguity of “standard” sizing from retailer to retailer, clothing from the Bournemouth Depot is measured. Please check these measurements before purchasing to ensure correct fitting. Use the “standard” sizing as a guide only.
