Originally, along with its L-0 and L-1 siblings, the L-00 was produced as an 'economy line' guitar, featuring a smaller size and lighter construction... and though it was discontinued in 1945, the L-00 grew in legend over the years thanks to music superstars such as Blues progenitor Robert Johnson.Like its vintage Gibson ancestors, the Epiphone L-00 features a Solid Sitka Spruce top that actually will improve in tone as it ages and is played.
