This Trevor James Flute is silver plated throughout with an E-Mechanism and curved and straight headjoints. Designed with the young player with a small reach, the curved headjoint is perfect as it reduces the overall length of the flute. It is not good for the posture of the student to overstretch whilst playing so the curved headjoint helps to alleviate the problem in the short term whilst having a straight headjoint means the player doesn't have to buy another flute. Much care attention has been given to the construction of this flute with the technicians at Trevor James giving attention to detail throughout the building process Features:Immediate and free blowing headjoint Double skin yellow pads Improved felts under the tail arms Trevor James triple-plated finishing process Cork under the trill keys The free blowing headjoint is a critical area of construction as it encourages quality sound production from the new player, the double skin yellow pads also provide an accurate airtight seal that gives immediate response to the flute when each key is depressed.The advantage of having felts under the tail arms is that this provides the player with a very quiet mechanism which will enhance overall performance. This flute is finished with copper plating directly onto the tube followed by an additional two layers of silver-plating and having cork under the trill keys demonstrates the excellent care and attention given to the finishing of all keywork.
