Gear 4 Music Product Information
The SRX718S is a compact high power subwoofer system containing a 2268H neodymium magnet patented* Differential Drive 18" woofer in a front-loaded vented enclosure. The enclosure is designed to present a minimum frontal area. The system offers complete input connection ?exibility for compatibility with a variety of cabling schemes. A recessed external switch allows selection of either contacts +1/-1 or +2/-2. The SRX718S is equipped with a top-mounted threaded 20 mm socket that can receive the optional SS4-BK pole. This adjustable height pole can be used to mount speakers equipped with standard 35 mm pole sockets and weighing up to 50 kg (100 lb). The threaded socket minimizes buzzing and rattling and assures that the pole will be secure and straight. The enclosure is constructed of top quality birch plywood coated in JBLs rugged Dura Flex finish and is heavily braced to maximize low frequency performance. The attractive CNC-machined 16-gauge steel grille is internally lined with acoustically transparent foam to provide additional driver protection and give a very professional appearance. Zipp Vuka Clip Extensions: Most aero extensions are built around the tradeoff between clean lines and adjustability. Not so with the Vuka Clip, which gives you an incredible range of fine-tuning with only the most stripped-down frontal area. This unique clip-on aero bar is designed to function with chicane, straight, ski tip or Vuka Shift (chicane) extensions, which may be cut up to 90mm to give an overall length adjustment of nearly 120mm. The replaceable EVA foam pads are supported directly above or 12.5mm behind the base bar and may be rotated to give 42 possible positional combinations for maximum comfort and control. As with the Vuka Aero, the compression sleeve design allows 4 axes of adjustment to the extensions. The precision machined aluminium body is shot peened for optimal stress relief and to add fatigue strength. All parts are coated with our special anodising process to eliminate any sweat corrosion. Vuka Clip is sized for 31.8mm bars and includes precision machined spacers for 26.0mm. It integrates perfectly with the Zipp SLC2 drop bar or Vuka Bull and does not include aero extensions.
