With the V Gauge stopper inserted into the bottle top, simple use the included vacuum pump to evacuate all the air and unlike other bottle stoppers, the V Gauge Wine Preserver has an ingenious pressure gauge attached, allowing you to see that all the air has been removed from the bottle, (once the needle reaches the Red area on the gauge) guaranteeing the wine will stay fresh for a few more days, providing you can resists temptation to drink it. You may be thinking to yourself, why would you really need a pressure gauge on the wine stopper! Well simply, you'll be able to see when the vacuum needs to be topped up as the needle will start dropping out of the red and so continuing to preserve your bottle of wine.
