The setting is perfect for long summer evenings with a glass of local cider or as a cosy retreat in the winter time. Just a short drive away are the towns of Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Taunton; a little further out lies Bath and Exmoor National Park. There are many National Trust properties in the surrounding area, High Ham's own unique thatched windmill being one. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north and south, such as Lyme Regis and Burnham-on-Sea. It also makes a perfect place from which to cycle, walk, fish, birdwatch and go horse riding. Stabling: there are facilities on site to bring your own horse, this should be arranged prior to your stay to avoid disappointment (charge on request).The accommodation has flagstone floors throughout and offers ONE bedroom: double that can be made into a twin on request. There is additional sleeping for 1 person on a sofa bed in the lounge and is available on request. Shower room: with WC. Lounge/diner: spacious area with TV, Freeview, DVD, hi-fi and french doors. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: french doors from the lounge lead onto a paved patio and large private lawn with seating and BBQ. Guests can also enjoy the delightful 1 acre garden surrounding the owner's detached property. Amenities: undercover parking. Bed linen, towels and electric included, central heating is an extra £20 per week from November - April and is payable to the owner on arrival. Regret no pets or smoking.
