The colour is deep red-black leading to a bouquet showing hints of chocolate and dark plums. These flavours extend to the palate which is richly structured with a fine, persistent finish - a wine of great style and power. The 2006 vintage is highly rated by the winemakers and has produced wines of great depth, flavour and richness. Extremely low yielding mature vineyards in the Barossa Valley districts of Kabiningie, Dorrien, Freeling and Greenock. Fermented & macerated on skins for up to 2 weeks with some partial barrel fermentation. After pressing & clarification, matured in 90% French and 10% American oak hogsheads for approx 18 months. Savour with rich game dishes, roast beef, and hard cheese such as Parmigiano Reggiano, aged cheddar or Grana Padana. Stonewell Shiraz is Peter Lehmann Wines best wine of each vintage and one of the world's great Shiraz. It is the most powerful expression of Shiraz we make from our growers' vineyards. The pedigree of these vineyards and the knowledge that has been passed from each winemaking generation at Peter Lehmann Wines to the next, assures us these will be wines of great longevity. The story of Stonewell Shiraz began in 1987 when Peter Lehmann decided to make a special Shiraz - a wine of immense intensity and muscularity that would demand time in the barrel and bottle before release. The wine was named ‘Stonewell' after the district that he believed best showed the characters admired most in Barossa Shiraz. This tradition has continued and each vintage the best Shiraz from our legacy of growers' Barossa vineyards is chosen to create Stonewell. Usually no more than a dozen small, old vineyards are selected each year, the oldest planted in 1885. Located in the harder country, these are some of our lowest yielding vineyards. The berries are small and sparse with crops typically less than 2 tonnes per acre.

Akashi-Tai Junmai Daiginjo uses only the very best of this variety - the top grade of the most highly prized Yamada Nishiki rice grown in a district of Hyogo so renowned for fine sake-making rice it was even given its own designation of Special A Zone. This fine rice is polished until only 40% of the grain remains, after which, two months are devoted to nurturing the Akashi-Tai sake to completion - about twice as long as most conventional sakes. Polishing away the outer portion of the rice grain results in a sake that combines rich yet crisp flavour with sophisticated aroma and depth.

In 1824, the House of Angostura mastered the production of bitters, and today Angostura aromatic bitters is the only bottle that you will find behind every cocktail bar in the world. 183 years on Angostura have, at last, developed their first brand extension - Angostura orange bitters. It has been a long time in the making, but now for the first time there is a high quality, concentrated and balanced orange bitters available for use in the finest cocktails. Angostura orange bitters are new, but the category dates back to long before US prohibition. Orange bitters were incredibly popular at the turn of the 20th century, and were a key ingredient in many original cocktail classics. The Balvenie Doublewood Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two woods. During its period of maturation The Balvenie Doublewood is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill Spanish oak sherry cask. Tasting Notes: This crisply elegant multi-vintage wine dazzles with complex pear, spice and hazelnut flavors. Fresh and lightly fruity, with great finesse and depth of flavour. Equally comfortable with candlelight dinners and summer picnics, the Anderson Valley Brut is not just for toasting! It's also wonderful with egg dishes (think brunch), sushi, spicy Asian food, fish and white meats with creamy sauces. Crush: Only the cuvee (first pressing of 120 gallons/ton) is used, gently pressed from the pulp with minimal skin contact. Fermentation: Fermented at 65F in high-grade stainless steel tanks. No malolactic fermentation, to ensure the wines age well and retain the fresh style that is one of the characteristics of Roederer wines. Reserve Wines: Special oak-aged reserve wines make up 11-15% of the final blend. En Tirage: Aged a minimum of two years on the yeast. Winemaking / Technical Notes: Roederer's winemaking style is based on ownership of its own vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year's blend. Aged from one to three years, these special wines help create a multi-vintage cuvee in the traditional Roederer style, known for its body, finesse and depth of flavour. Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut builds on the 200-year winemaking tradition established by Champagne Louis Roederer in France. The first California sparkling wine produced by Roederer, the Anderson Valley Brut has established a reputation as one of California's premier sparklers.
