The Pocket Wizard CM-N3-ACC Remote Cable is for remotely triggering the electronic shutter release of Canon cameras equipped with a N3 Remote Terminal. It is required for remote camera triggering with a Flex TT5 trigger if using E-TTL functions. In addition, the Pocket Wizard CM-N3-ACC cable contains a pre-trigger connection. When a remote zone is enabled on a Multi MAX, the camera behaves as if the camera's shutter release button were held half-pressed continuously. The Pocket Wizard CM-N3-ACC makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When the remote zone is disabled, the camera will enter its normal sleep modes.
