It has a top speed of 25kph on the flat thanks to its intelligent brushless motor and is also very lightweight thanks to its aluminium alloy construction. The Foldaway is constructed using the best quality parts available; it has a 6 speed Shimano derailleur and MODE front suspension fork to ensure that you will get the longest possible life from your bike. Perfect for the daily commute, the foldaway is sure to get you into work in style. Battery: State of the art 24v Lithium Ion technology provides longer battery life and charges to capacity in under 4 hours. Li-Ion is 'smart' technology - each battery is controlled by an integrated microchip and will provide power only when needed. This makes for a highly efficient design and can extend the working life of the battery. Motor: The intelligent 250w brushless motor is controlled via a throttle lever on the handlebars. There is the option to select either one of the two different power modes:- Pedal Assist Mode: This supplements pedalling and gives you an extra boost of power for tackling those large hills with ease Pure Power Mode: Feeling lazy? Select pure power and put your feet up! Brakes: High quality disc brakes on the rear wheel ensure plenty of stopping power. Suspension: The Foldaway has a MODE hydraulic front fork. Wheels and Tyres: 16" Aluminium alloy twin wall wheels for extra strength. Class leading CTS road tyres. Included is a rear rack for attaching pannier bags. The saddle has independent suspension to prevent aches.
