The mid-range Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flashgun offers a whole lot of features within a compact flashgun. Light up your moments Kicking out a lot of power, the Speedlite 430EX II Flashgun boasts a guide number of 43 (m/ISO 100 at 105mm), and includes an integral wide panel for wide-angle lens coverage (to 14mm). Recycle times have been improved by a marked 20% over the original 430EX , with silent recycling for the minimum of subject disturbance. Using compatible EOS cameras, every flash setting on the Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flashgun can be controlled via the camera's menu system, for quick convenience and intuitive use. The Canon Speedlite 430-EX II 's Manual Mode allows fine adjustment of flash output in 1/3rd stop increments, for truly refined flash output. This flash gun is fully compatible with the E-TTL II system found on recent Canon EOS cameras, and can also be used as a slave unit in a wireless flash set-up. A mighty light The Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flashgun is also capable of recognising the camera's sensor size, making automatic adjustments to the zoom range depending on whether the camera is full frame, APS-C, or APS-H.
