The Aspen Polaris is a professional exposure meter with world-class features and performance, at a fraction of the cost of comparable models. Its oversized LCD display shows all data and functions clearly and easily, even at full arm's length. The analogue scale makes for easy reading, too. The Polaris has a total of nine flash sync shutter speed selections available to match the sync speed of virtually any camera, with shutter speeds up to 1/8000. Accurate to 0.1 f-stop, and its unique multi-flash feature makes it simple to calculate how many times the flash must be fired to achieve a desired f/stop. A Custom Program Level Function lets user program meter for under-or-over exposure preferences, and there are four exposure modes to choose from: Ambient f-stop, Ambient EV value, Flash (via cord) and cordless flash. All this, and it's compact too: less and an inch thick and it weighs under a hundred grams.
